The excellent Nest Audio is down to its lowest price yet for Black Friday
Google takes its time to release new smart home hardware, but when it finally does launch something, it's usually well worth the wait. 2020 finally saw a successor to the original Google Home that first went on sale four years ago, taking the shape of the Google Nest Audio.
The Nest Audio is better than the Google Home in virtually every way, and in honor of Black Friday, it's now discounted to the lowest price we've ever seen for it. If you pick up the two-pack bundle right now, it can be yours for just $170 ($85 per speaker). Considering the Nest Audio just came out a few weeks ago, this is a great price.

Google Nest Audio (2-Pack) | $30 off at Best Buy
Google's new Nest Audio speaker is a massive improvement over the original Google Home, and thanks to Black Friday, it's already down to a never-before-seen low price. The two-pack bundle is currently on sale for just $170, allowing you to pair the Nest Audios together for impressive stereo sound or have them in two separate rooms.
I've been using a Nest Audio in my office for a little over a week, and it's been an absolute joy. The all-fabric design looks fantastic, and if you don't like the subdued Charcoal and Chalk colors shown in the picture above, you can also get it in Sage, Sand, and Sky. Even better, you can feel good about your purchase knowing that the fabric is derived from recycled water bottles.
You can talk to the Nest Audio like you would any other Google Assistant speaker. Just say "OK Google" or "Hey Google," followed by whatever command/question you have. Whether you want to control smart home devices, ask about the weather, call your mom, or anything else in between, the Google Assistant is able to help.
In addition to its smarts and good looks, the Nest Audio also sounds quite nice. It's not the absolute best speaker we've ever heard, but even at the $100 retail price, the audio quality is pretty impressive all things considered. A single Nest Audio on its own is great, but when you pair two together for stereo sound, that's where things really come together.
Whether you decide to take advantage of that stereo pairing or want to split the Nest Audios between two different rooms, $170 for this two-pack is an amazing deal. For folks just starting their smart home journey or expanding their existing Google Assistant collection, this isn't something you want to miss out on.
